CRABS

Fresh white crab meat             

Hand picked, moist with the sweet flavour only found in fresh crab meat, keeps well.  Why not serve

crab cocktail instead of prawn cocktail?

 

White crab meat                     

Hand picked, goes a long way.  Scatter in salad leaves with a fresh lemony dressing – ideal starter. 

Frozen in 1lb (454g) packs.

 

50/50 crab meat                                         

From the Orkneys, half white, half dark meat.  Don’t confuse with cheaper meats, this is hand picked

with no added water.  Cover in cheese sauce (add a dash of brandy!) and grill in a small

dish as an exciting starter. Frozen in 1lb (454g) packs.

 

Fresh dressed crabs                             

About 140g each, white and dark meat arranged in the shell, sourced from the best areas. 

Easy – no work involved!

Cooked and live crabs        

Our large crabs are 1.4 to 2.5 kg, our medium crabs are 350g to 1kg.  From Dorset. 

Usually cock crabs with lots of white meat in the claws, less dark meat in the body. 

As a centre piece to a seafood dish they look stunningly attractive, but less expensive

than lobster.  If you need live crabs please order one day ahead before 10 am. From the south coast,

350g to 1kg.  Delicious cooked and eaten warm.
