MONKFISH AND HALIBUT
l Ask us to skin, pin and portion all fish to your requirements.
l All our fish is sold by weight, but if you want to order by the portion, we can price
by the portion, which may help your pricing.
l Give us a day's notice and your fish could be individually vacuum-packed - you could
put it straight into your freezer
Monkfish
Monk tails, ours are the best from Cornwall. A whole fish is very ugly, hence its name of frogfish
and sea devil. It's also called the angler fish. If you want whole tails or fillets, ask our fishmongers
when you phone. Its a very firm fish that will hold together if you use it in a fish stew or in kebabs.
Wild halibut
We cut our halibut from whole fish, flown in wild and fresh from Vancouver in Canada. Firm flesh that won't fall apart in cooking. Ask for steaks, fillet, or saddle (whole, with bone in for roasting).
